Best Hotels Near Shoptalk
Are you ready for Las Vegas? Shoptalk 2019 will take place at The Venetian on the Las Vegas Strip. While the event has reserved a block of rooms for registered Shoptalk attendees, these rooms are limited and typically get booked pretty quickly. Fortunately, there are great hotels everywhere you look in Las Vegas. Here a few other hotel accommodations that you should consider for your trip:
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas (0.5 mi) – This resort makes it easy for you to walk over to the event each day, so you never have to worry about being late or traveling across the city. Plus, these residential-style spaces will make you feel right at home as you gaze out on the Las Vegas skyline.
Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas (0.6 mi) – While most of the hotels and resorts in Las Vegas have their own casinos, this five-star luxury hotel does not. If you want to get away from the gambling and relax after the event, the Mandarin Oriental is the spot for you.
MGM Grand Hotel & Casino (0.7 mi) – The MGM Grand has it all. With luxurious rooms, a casino, a pool, a relaxing spa, and several different restaurants, everything you could possibly need is right at your fingertips.
Luxor Hotel & Casino (1.4 mi) – The Luxor is one of the most distinct buildings on the Las Vegas Strip. Built to look like an Egyptian pyramid, this hotel and casino is unique, convenient, and full of fantastic amenities.
Gold Coast Hotel & Casino (1.9 mi) – We understand that not all businesses have the budget to stay in a grand hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, especially startups. If you want to be kind to your wallet, consider staying a little further out. While this hotel is not on the Strip, it still features all of the same luxuries and amenities. It even offers a free shuttle service to the Las Vegas Strip.
Palace Station Hotel & Casino (3.9 mi) – This hotel is another fantastic option if you are looking for budget-friendly accommodations. You may be a few miles away from the Las Vegas Strip, but you will still get the complete Vegas experience.
Best Places to Host Events Near Shoptalk
Joël Robuchon – If you want to treat your guests to an elegant dinner at a Forbes Five Star restaurant, Joël Robuchon is the epitome of sophistication. Located within the MGM Grand, this French restaurant will make for an unforgettable experience.
Mandarin Bar – One of the most exclusive venues in Las Vegas, this cocktail bar provides the perfect setting for an intimate gathering or networking event. As an added bonus, nestled on the 23rd floor of the Mandarin Oriental, it provides some of the most spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip.
Sage – Located within the ARIA Resort & Casino, Sage is known for its contemporary American cuisine that is infused with global influences. The dishes are made with seasonal ingredients, the finest meats, and premium seafood, making this restaurant a favorite among the most seasoned foodies. The semi-private dining area seats 55 guests, so you can invite all of your colleagues and business prospects to enjoy a delicious meal.
Typical Weather During Shoptalk
Temperatures in Las Vegas can get pretty hot, easily rising over 100 degrees during the peak of summer. Fortunately, March is a much more enjoyable time of year to be in Las Vegas. With average highs in the upper 60s and lows in the mid 40s, you will be able to comfortably explore the area, both day and night.
Transportation Options at Shoptalk
The best thing about staying in a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip is that you can easily walk to many sights, attractions, restaurants, casinos, and other hotels. If you are not staying on the Strip, no problem. Many hotels offer free shuttle services to the Las Vegas Strip, so you can easily get over there for the event and to explore. There are also taxis everywhere in Vegas, so you can quickly get a ride to anywhere you want to be.
Must-Do, Must-See and Best Attractions Near Shoptalk
Fountains of Bellagio – The Fountains of Bellagio are one of the most well-known sights in Las Vegas. You can admire this complex water feature as it performs carefully choreographed routines to some of your favorite music.
Gondola Rides – Located within The Venetian hotel, the Grand Canal Shoppes has over 160 stores. Once you get your retail therapy in, the icing on the cake is to take a gondola ride. You can float in an authentic Venetian gondola while your gondolier singings and guides you through the Grand Canal.
SkyJump – If you are a thrill seeker, then this could be the ultimate experience. Located 855 feet above the Las Vegas Strip, you will jump from a launching pad on the 108th floor of the Stratosphere. This controlled descent is similar to a vertical zip line, so you can feel confident about having a safe landing.
