The weather in Las Vegas in mid-September is typically pretty warm, with high temperatures around 95 degrees and lows around 66 degrees. Historically, there is low precipitation at that time, with possibilities of light rain.
The easiest way to get around Las Vegas Blvd., otherwise known as the Strip, is on foot. Most of the hotel-casinos are within walking distance of one another, and you can get to and from them quickly by walking. However, if you plan to visit many of the hotels and don’t want to wear out your feet, you may want to rent a car (there is free valet parking at all of the hotels), or take a taxi.
Fremont Street Experience –Visit this pedestrian mall in downtown Las Vegas, for a Vegas experience away from Las Vegas Blvd. There is shopping, gambling, and other attractions to enjoy.
The Mob Museum – See the history of organized crime in this interactive museum dedicated to the true crime stories of the Mob from its inception until now.
The Neon Museum – Explore the history of Las Vegas through the retired neon signs. It’s best to take a tour at night when the lights are lit up.
