The 2017 Pubcon Las Vegas will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) from November 6-9. The event offers attendees a multi-track program with speakers who are industry leaders in social media and optimization. The official conference runs November 7-9, but attendees have the option of attending the Pubcon Master’s Group search and social media training on the 6th, which focuses on SEO, SMO, paid search and social, and introductory SEO. The exhibition hall, with over 80 exhibitor booths of industry partners, will be open to all attendees on the 7th and 8th.
As an added bonus, this conference provides a great opportunity for sponsors and exhibitors to connect with eCommerce leads. List Genius is a great tool to use in preparation for the show. The conference consists of:
Pubcon Las Vegas – named a Forbes must-attend conference and an Inc. top conference for growing your business – brings together businesses, start-ups, speakers, keynotes, exhibitors, and sponsors to discuss, teach, and learn about social media, digital marketing, search engines, and online advertising. With over 3,000 attendees there will be ample time for networking and establishing connections that will enhance your company’s bottom line.
Some of the keynote speakers who will be presenting and sharing their expertise at Pubcon Las Vegas 2017 include:
The Treasure Island Hotel & Casino is the officially-recommended hotel for Pubcon, but there are many other hotels to choose from up and down the Strip and nearby. Here are a few for you to consider:
Las Vegas Marriott (0.3 mi) – If you are looking for someplace close to the LVCC, but away from the noise of the Strip, look no further. The Marriott offers both, at an affordable price.
The Palazzo (1.5 mi) – The Palazzo is farther away from the conference venue, but right across Las Vegas Blvd. from Treasure Island. It’s also a less expensive option, but still where the action is.
Wynn Las Vegas (1.2 mi) – The Wynn offers guests an upscale experience. It’s a bit more expensive, but also much more high-end.
When the conference day is over, you may want to hit the Strip for a drink or a meal. The choices are endless, but here are a few for you to think about:
Sinatra ($$$$) – If you love Frank Sinatra, you will love this restaurant – a tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes himself. The menu consists of elegant Italian dishes, many loved by Frank. It is pricey, but the atmosphere and cuisine make it worth it.
Top of the World ($$$) – This rotating restaurant allows you to see all of Las Vegas from 844 feet above the Strip. Atop the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino Tower, you can enjoy great food and choose from an extensive wine list.
Public House ($$) – This gastropub is located in the Venetian Hotel and Casino, and is the perfect destination to relax and unwind with one of over two hundred beers available to guests. The menu is filled with pub food that is elevated in taste and presentation.
October in Las Vegas is almost guaranteed to be great weather-wise. The typical high temperature around the dates of the conference is 82 degrees, and the low is 61 degrees. There is very little chance of rain at that time, few clouds, and low humidity. You really can’t ask for a better forecast.
The easiest way to get around Las Vegas Blvd., otherwise known as the Strip, is on foot. Most of the hotel-casinos are within walking distance of one another, and you can get to and from them quickly by walking. However, if you plan to visit many of the hotels and don’t want to wear out your feet, you may want to rent a car (there is free valet parking at all of the hotels), or take a taxi.
Fremont Street Experience –Visit this pedestrian mall in downtown Las Vegas, for a Vegas experience away from Las Vegas Blvd. There is shopping, gambling, and other attractions to enjoy.
The Mob Museum – See the history of organized crime in this interactive museum dedicated to the true crime stories of the Mob from its inception until now.
The Neon Museum – Explore the history of Las Vegas through the retired neon signs. It’s best to take a tour at night when the lights are lit up.
