Typical Weather During OpenWorld

You’re looking at some pretty nice weather in San Francisco in September. The average high temperature mid-month is 72 degrees and the low is 56 degrees. There may be rain at that time of year, but it is typically light. Expect it to be fairly humid and breezy, but not windy. It’s probably a good idea to pack a light jacket and umbrella, just in case.

Transportation Options at OpenWorld

There is no doubt that getting around San Francisco is best done on foot. There are lots of curvy streets and hills to maneuver. In the downtown area, you don’t have as many hills, and most of the places you’ll want to visit are in walking distance. You can opt to use the famous San Francisco Cable Cars, taxis, or city buses when your feet are tired. Renting a car may be more trouble than it is worth in downtown. Most hotels charge an additional fee to park, and it’s not cheap. Walking, taking a taxi, or using public transportation will actually save you money.
