The Bazaarvoice Summit 2017 will be coming to the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin, TX on March 9 (with a pre-conference workshop also being held on March 8). The beginning of March is a great time to be in Austin. While the summers can be hot and humid, March tends to be very pleasant. With the average highs in the low 70s and the average lows in the 50s, you will be able to enjoy the sights and attractions in Austin while staying comfortable.
Getting around the Austin area is pretty easy. Each little part of Austin typically has shops and restaurants that you can easily walk to. If you want to travel somewhere a little further away, there is the MetroRail, which has nine different stations over the course of 32 miles. There are also plenty of taxi services in Austin, so you can always have someone drive you to exactly where you want to be. Or you can always get an Uber, too.
The City of Austin is a fun and vibrant place to explore. Here are a few suggestions of things for you to do during your time in this area.
6th Street District – While you are in Austin, you need to experience this historic street and entertainment district in the downtown area. This iconic street has a little bit of everything for you to check out – food trucks, bars, restaurants, shopping, a barbershop, and much more!
Bullock Texas State History Museum – You can learn all about the story of Texas at this museum. There are unique exhibitions, fun events, IMAX films, and a Texas-inspired café for you to enjoy.
Live Music – Did you know that Austin is actually known as the live music capital of the world? Many of the area’s bars and restaurants will have live music on a regular basis, and there are also music festivals constantly happening in this city. No matter how big or small the venue, you need to hear at least a little bit of live music while you are in Austin.
